ABOUT IRJ
Steering Committee
The Institute's Steering Committee is comprised of scholars from the College of Criminal Justice, School of Law, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Department of African American Studies, and School of Education. The Steering Committee, an integral part of the Institute's interdisciplinary organizational structure, plays a vital role in the Institute's decision-making processes and progress. During its monthly meetings with IRJ leadership and staff members, the Steering Committee helps collectively shape and manage the activity of the Institute. Steering Committee members are also involved in the Institute's research projects and in planning its major events.
